Out this morning watering the patch as I was away for the Christmas break here in Australia. From 26th Dec 2012 to 2nd Jan 2013 the patch had little watering due to me not being present and the non-potable water system for the estate was down. And is still down as of today. So desperately, I have had to use my drinking water to dampen the vegetable garden.
I have taken some updated pictures an hour or so back for the record. All seems ok despite the lack of water. There are weeds that really need pulling out, so I'll start that in the next day or so, if not tomorrow morning.
In the middle picture (topish middle) I have planted sweet corn, but, looking at it now, I am starting to believe that the seeds became mixed up and I have planted snow peas instead. Bugger eh? So whatever it is, I'll leave it and will probably go out and purchase some sweet corn seedlings to plant in an area that I have prepared last year.
